Church listings

Logo requirements

Your logo appears inside a circle next to your church’s name, as small as 45 pixels in the results list and 125 pixels on the church panel. These five rules keep every logo looking sharp and complete.

The five rules

  1. Use a PNG, JPG or WebP file. We can’t accept SVG files. Export your logo as a PNG instead.
  2. Make it square (1:1), at least 512 × 512 pixels, and no larger than 5 MB.
  3. Keep the mark inside the center circle with about 10% breathing room on every side. Anything in the corners will be cut off.
  4. Use a transparent or solid background. Transparent logos are shown on white.
  5. Make sure it reads clearly at small sizes. A simple mark works better than a long wordmark or a photo.

Tip: after choosing a file you can zoom and drag your logo until it fits the circle. The previews show exactly what visitors will see.

What happens after upload

Every upload is checked automatically against these rules. If something is off, you will see a short note explaining which rule it missed and how to fix it. Nothing is saved until the logo passes.

Logos that do not pass are never shown. Until a logo is approved, the listing shows the standard church placeholder instead, so nothing ever appears cut off or blurry.

Only have a wordmark or a photo?

Ask your designer for the standalone mark or monogram your church uses on signage and social media. If you do not have one, it is fine to skip the logo. The placeholder is designed to look right next to every listing.
