The Church at FHBC

About

All about Jesus We talk about Jesus all the time because He is the center of all we do. We are excited to be believers in and followers of Jesus Christ. We believe that God has always existed, and Jesus has always existed with God. God created a perfect heaven and earth, but we sinned against Him, allowing pain and suffering into the world. Out of love, God sent His son Jesus to take the penalty for our sins. Born of the virgin Mary in Bethlehem, Jesus lived a sinless life, faced temptations, and experienced life’s joys and hardships. He taught, healed, and called people to follow Him. Crucified on a cross, He was our substitute for sin. On the third day, He rose from the grave, proving His power over life and death. He ascended into heaven, promising to return and empowering His church to make disciples of those who believe in Him. Everyone who believes in Him receives a meaningful life on Earth and eternal life in heaven, a gift of God’s grace. As recipients of this gift, we follow Jesus, obey His commands, worship together, love others, share our faith, and eagerly await His return. Belief in Jesus can happen anytime and anywhere, often expressed in a simple prayer of faith. If you have made this decision or would like to discuss it further, please reach out to us so we can provide you with a Bible and support you in your journey.
