Shepherd Bible Church

About

Shepherd Bible Church was originally a multi-site campus of Mission Church in Memphis Tennessee. In 2022 the leadership of our campus and the leadership of Mission Church began to pray about how to most faithfully minister to both congregations, knowing that we will one day give an account to the Lord for how we cared for his bride (the Church) and the souls that He has entrusted to us. This desire came in conjunction with Mission Church’s desire to move away from the multi-site church model and to move toward a church-planting model. After much prayer, the Elders at both locations were unanimous in the desire to plant the Collierville location as Shepherd Bible Church. Our church plant that has greatly benefited from the ministry of 9Marks. We are non-denominational, but all of our staff/elders have baptist upbringings. Our staff and Elders used "How to Build a Healthy Church" as a roadmap for our church plant. We have ~230 covenant members, a plurality of Elders, installed Deacons last year, and our regular diet in our congregational gathering is to expositionally preach through books of the Bible as we behold the finished work of Christ all throughout the Word.
