About
Metropolitan Baptist Church is a multi-ethnic fully reformed Southern Baptist Church. It has existed for 44 years in a highly transitional urban community. Pastor Corbin Henderson has served the Church since early 2025, and is committed to feeding the congregation through expository preaching week in and week out. Metropolitan's Eldership stresses mentoring and discipleship groups for spiritual development, while calling the church members to a holy lifestyle through a passionate pursuit of God's glory by applying the Scriptures in teaching, correcting, rebuking and training in righteousness.
